Learning English as a second language can be achieved by all British Royal Students, indeed, it is expected. However, many students go beyond learning and begin mastering the English language.
One such measure of English proficiency is the FIRST CERTIFICATE (FCE)– PET and KET EXAMINATIONS – the Test of English as a Foreign Language, which evaluates the ability of an individual to use and to understand English in a university setting. It is sometimes an admission requirement for non-native English speakers at many English-speaking universities.
Additionally, institutions such as government agencies, licensing bodies, businesses, or scholarship programs often require this test.
